Billing and Cancellation
Draft for review — not yet adopted. Agreements require a completed private schedule and signatures before use.
1. Current free and test access
Current supported enrollments provide free or test access; paid billing is not enabled. A profile price or subscription label does not establish that a payment has occurred. Free or test access is not a paid trial and does not authorize future charges.
The provisions below describe the proposed terms for future paid offerings. They do not activate billing or identify an approved payment processor. A paid offering must provide the actual purchase and cancellation details before accepting payment.
2. Purchase information and authorization
Before a paid purchase, the offer must identify the seller, clone, included features and channels, usage limits, activation requirements, total price and currency, taxes or additional fees, billing interval, renewal terms, and cancellation method. Separately charged extras require separate disclosure and acceptance.
Only charges expressly disclosed and accepted are authorized. Linking a messaging account, continuing a conversation, or accepting free access does not authorize a paid plan. A completed purchase must provide a receipt or confirmation identifying the transaction and applicable terms.
3. Renewals, trials, and price changes
A recurring plan continues at the disclosed interval until canceled. The renewal amount, charge timing, and method to stop renewals must be clear before consent. Any trial or introductory offer must disclose its duration, initial cost, conversion date and price, eligibility, and cancellation deadline.
Required reminders and notices must be provided. Price or billing changes must be communicated in advance with any consent required by law and an opportunity to cancel before the new charge. Changes cannot retroactively authorize charges or silently convert current free or test access.
4. Canceling current free or test access
Open the relevant clone’s settings and choose Cancel subscription. Complete the cancellation reason, any optional feedback, and the requested CANCEL confirmation. A successful request ends that clone’s current enrollment and removes its active channel links. Each clone enrollment is handled separately.
This ends current access immediately and does not cancel a recurring payment, because current enrollments are free or test access. An error may mean the request did not complete; verify the account status. Cancellation is separate from account deletion or a privacy request.
5. Canceling a future paid plan
An enabled paid offering must provide a straightforward cancellation method before purchase and in its account or payment-management instructions. A completed cancellation stops future renewals for that plan. Under this proposed policy, access normally continues until the end of the already-paid period, unless an earlier end is requested or a lawful safety restriction or refund requires it.
Cancellation must provide confirmation and identify the effective date and access end. The actual customer-support and any processor-managed cancellation routes must be supplied before paid launch, including a route for customers who cannot sign in. Removing an app, disconnecting messaging, or clearing a conversation does not itself cancel a recurring payment.
A cancellation request must not require an AI clone’s approval. Money already paid is handled under the Refund Policy and mandatory law. The paid-period rule above does not describe the current immediate cancellation of free or test access.
6. Payment problems and unavailable service
Paid access must correspond to the purchased offer and verified payment. A failed or uncertain payment does not authorize duplicate charges. A charge without access must be investigated using the transaction reference, without asking for passwords or full card details.
If a clone is discontinued, creator permission ends, or a material failure prevents delivery, future renewals for the unavailable service must stop. The customer must receive the remedy due under the purchase terms and law, including any applicable refund. Replacement service requires the customer’s agreement; a generic AI limitation does not excuse failure to supply the purchased service.
7. Receipts and applicable terms
Keep purchase receipts, cancellation confirmations, and relevant dates. Use the official purchase or receipt instructions to identify the seller and transaction. Never send full card numbers, security codes, login codes, or passwords in a clone conversation or ordinary support request.
This policy supplements the purchase disclosures and Refund Policy. Mandatory law prevails. Purchase-specific terms must be clear before acceptance, and later changes cannot reduce rights for an earlier transaction or authorize previously undisclosed charges.
