Likeness and Voice Permission Template
Draft for review — not yet adopted. Agreements require a completed private schedule and signatures before use.
1. Purpose and informed permission
This template records a creator’s permission for specified AI uses of their identity, likeness, voice, and source material by Kamino and any expressly named agency. The creator, authorized recipients, clone, assets, duration, and permitted uses must be identified in a private permission schedule signed before use. This public draft does not establish anyone’s consent.
The creator must be an adult able to grant the relevant rights. A representative may sign only with documented authority specifically covering the permission. Identity and age evidence must be handled separately through a suitable secure process.
2. Uses that must be selected individually
The schedule must separately authorize public name/profile use, ordinary image generation, voice synthesis, personality/source processing, paid distribution, user downloads, and promotional use. It must identify the source assets, channels, territory, duration, creator boundaries, and any preview or approval conditions. An omitted or unselected use is not permitted.
Permission is nonexclusive and limited to the selected uses. Within those limits, it permits necessary storage, reproduction, reference processing, generation, and delivery by the named recipients and their necessary service providers. Adding another clone, campaign, product, channel, or materially broader use requires new written permission.
3. Separate adult-use consent
Adult image generation, sexual text or voice roleplay, processing adult source material, and adult distribution or downloads each require separate explicit authorization. The schedule must describe the permitted scope and excluded scenarios. Ordinary likeness permission, an agency appointment, or a platform setting does not authorize adult use.
Every real person represented in adult source material must have been at least 18 when it was created and must authorize the relevant use. No permission authorizes unlawful or prohibited content. Uncertain age, missing consent, or disputed rights prevents the affected use.
4. AI representations and retained rights
The creator understands that generated speech, images, and text may resemble them while depicting events or statements that never occurred. Such output must be identified as AI generated and must not be presented as an authentic recording, personal message, endorsement, or real-world commitment by the creator. Technical safeguards do not guarantee perfect adherence to boundaries.
The creator retains their identity and existing intellectual-property rights. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorize resale of voice models or identity datasets, unrelated advertising, or general-purpose model training on source material. It does not give users unrestricted commercial or impersonation rights. Necessary provider processing must be compatible with these limits.
5. Source rights and compensation
The creator must identify third-party rights affecting the approved assets, including rights held by photographers, recording owners, and other depicted people. Those permissions must be obtained before use. Ownership of a file or public availability does not itself supply the necessary rights.
Compensation or an express agreement to participate without payment must be recorded in the private schedule. A missing compensation term is neither a payment waiver nor a promise of revenue. Generated output is not guaranteed to be exclusive or eligible for copyright protection.
6. Withdrawal, changes, and expiry
The creator may withdraw or narrow permission for future use by written notice through the notice method in the signed schedule. Unless a later effective date is requested by the creator, withdrawal takes effect when received by an authorized recipient. The recipients must promptly coordinate stopping affected new generation, publication, promotion, and queued delivery. Urgent disputes must be restricted while the required consent is checked.
Expiry or withdrawal does not authorize continued distribution of earlier output unless a specific surviving permission and applicable law allow it. Limited evidence may be retained for legal or dispute purposes, but not reused for generation or promotion. Independent user or provider copies may require separate removal requests. Statutory withdrawal and termination rights remain unaffected.
7. Privacy and execution
Creator sources, permission records, and verification information must be protected under the applicable privacy notice and agreed access restrictions. This permission is not blanket consent to unrelated processing or public disclosure of identity records.
The private schedule must identify the creator and recipients, selected uses and assets, scope limits, duration, compensation, notice method, and any approval conditions. Record signatures, dates, signatory capacity, and representative authority where applicable. Each participating party must acknowledge the completed scope; changes require written agreement from the affected rights holders. Store executed copies privately.
